Quiz answers
- ‘Festive’ is worth 13 points. Scrabble has been produced in many languages including Braille.
- “Alt-text” or “Alternative Text”. The contents of the alternative text attribute is read out to screen reader users when they interact with an image. Additionally, it appears when a browser is unable to load an image, and search engines may use it to determine the intent and content of a page.
- Heading 1. The ‘Heading 1’ style is designed to be the main heading of your document and is more accessible. Headings help structure the document by splitting content into different sections, making it easier for users to scan and find information quickly.

- Comet. Santa’s other reindeers are called Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, and Rudolph.
- c) 16%. According to the World Health Organisation’s Disability page, an estimated 1.3 billion people or 16% of the world's population experience a significant disability.

- b) Screen reader. Screen readers allow people who are blind or have low vision to use computers by converting digital content into speech or braille. They can also be helpful for other users such as those with dyslexia.

- Open captions can’t be turned off as they are ‘burned into’ the video and are always visible when the video plays. Closed captions can be turned on and off by the viewer and are usually contained in a separate digital file from the video. Closed captions can be made more accessible by allowing viewers to change certain characteristics such as the text size, font and colour.
- c) 10%. According to the Civil Service statistics UK 2018 data, of those who declared their disability status, 10.0% said they were disabled.
